Offener Brief
Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren des Präsidiums der Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg,
seit geraumer Zeit protestieren StudentInnen in ganz Europa und anderen Teilen der Welt gegen die herrschende Bildungspolitik. Auch an unserer Universität wurde vielfältige Kritik an den Zuständen des Bildungssystems geäußert. Seit letztem Donnerstag (19. November 2009) beteiligen wir uns aktiv an dieser Bewegung: Das Hörsaalzentrum ist besetzt, Protestaktionen laufen und wir solidarisieren uns mit allen Bildungsstreikenden. Wir erarbeiten stetig wachsende politische Forderungen und werden unseren Protest aufrecht erhalten, bis unsere Forderungen erfüllt sind!

Traurig, wie unflexibel und unkooperativ “die Organisatoren” des Elterncampus reagiert haben. Eine vertane Chance zum kritischen Dialog über die Realität des Studiums, jenseits der Hochglanzfassade.

There’s no real legal grounds for a bag/receipt check unless the store has just cause to suspect someone of shoplifting. When the checks are performed on every single person, just cause doesn’t even come into it….
